Radecal Company History
Radecal Machine Sales and Service, based in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
Radecal was established in 2002 as a sign making and graphics company. After a couple of years in the industry and several visits to Asia and the USA, the partners began to import equipment used in the sign-making trade. Starting with cutter-plotters and budget laminators, the company expanded into CNC routers, Laser cutter/engravers, Professional laminators and even 3D rapid prototyping machines. The success of this venture led to the formation of Radecal Machine Sales and Service, a dedicated team of support staff and engineers. Now operating from 3 x 6500sq ft premises in the North East of England, both the sign and machine businesses have worked very well together. We feel we are uniquely qualified to supply the best possible advice and service on the products we sell as we use them ourselves on a daily basis. The Docan range of UV Flatbed printers, Piranha CNC Routers, Roland Printers, Bodor/Piranha Laser cutters, Monster Application Tables and Monster Laminators, can all be seen in operation in our signage business.
We at Radecal believe we don’t just want to sell you a machine, we want to provide you with the full service to enable your Company, School, College or University to succeed to its full potential using our equipment. With this in mind when purchasing Piranha CNC Routers or Piranha Laser Cutting machines, as part of our pricing you will receive full installation, complete training, unlimited support and a complete software package to get you started.
Sale and installation were fast and efficient. Training was informative and effective. We no longer outsource our CNC machining requirements and are able to respond faster and more effectively to project requirements.

Many thanks to the team at Radecal for the smooth supply and installation of our new Laser Cutter and the 3D Printer that came with it. An excellent service from first contact through supply, fitting and also the excellent teaching and demonstration package provided.
Steve Collingwood, Engineering technician at North Notts College
Radecal were very helpful and easy to deal with when choosing the right CNC machine for us. They assisted with finance and once everything was in place the machine installation and training went like clockwork, highly recommended!
Ross Haddow, Display Factory
The Laser Cutter service was brilliant, so is the machine and I would certainly purchase more machines in the future.
Isaac Ward, Skipbridge Signs & Graphics
Thanks for the install of our Spartan router, I'd just like to say that your engineer couldn't be more helpful and his work effort to get things done is excellent many thanks again guys.
Keith Woods, Scale Composites
Since the install of our PJB1060 Laser pupils are even more excited to do Design & Technology now; more younger pupils (KS3) are opting to do Technology based subjects at GCSE. Technical support have been superb, promptly answering our questions and assisting with our needs.
Jovan, St Ignatius College
Daniel your Engineer is brilliant; he was enthusiastic, knowledgeable completely thorough and a genuinely lovely bloke. A real credit to you and your company and just the sort of man you need dealing with customers. He talked through process very clearly and worked examples with our materials on the machine describing the software patiently and with real care. The machine is fantastic, we're really chuffed.
Giuseppe and Belli, 1to25 Scale
Excellent. I already had one laser cutter but needed another to reduce waiting time for pupils and also to have back-up in case something goes wrong with one. It is a really no-nonsense, easy to use machine. It is the pride of our DT workshop and even the 8 and 9 year old boys are using it semi-independently. It teaches the pupils how to use different machines.
The Beacon School
Radecal were amazing! The team were brilliant, from initial enquiry to remote set up of the laser. The PJDT6050 provides us with another string to our bow. Everything we do is designed and manufactured in house and so adding the use of a laser seemed to be a useful addition to our current scope of machinery.
Claire, More Creative Solutions
The machine (CNC) is great, everything is running smooth! Installation with Barrie was great and arranging it all via yourself went swift and smoothly. 10/10 service!
